Runs the private credit program and leads the investment committee and investment team, directing sourcing, structuring and execution across the portfolio. Has managed private credit for institutional investors for nearly two decades and has run the program since 2018.
- Since 2018, head of credit investing at a $700 million special situations manager, owning each position from sourcing and documentation through asset management; sits on its investment and senior management committees, and widened the mandate to industry-agnostic special situations in 2022
- Has structured senior, asset-backed financings across each of the firm’s focus areas: an asset-based lending portfolio bought below par, a merchant cash advance rediscount facility, equipment leasing, first-mortgage real estate, and loans against state tax credits and residential solar leases
- Rose to Principal at Atalaya Capital Management, a $2.5 billion private credit and special situations fund, as part of the team that built one of the earliest and largest US merchant-financing platforms, with more than $200 million of merchant-advance investments
- Has taken positions through management changes, amendments and consensual wind-downs, relying on structure and lender rights to protect investor capital
